Bar Association Of San Francisco Plans Substance Abuse Seminars

The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) this month is planning a pair of seminars focusing on the issue of substance abuse.

On Wednesday, January 10, BASF will present Law Practice - An Express Lane to Substance Abuse? from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the CLE Auditorium, 465 California Street, San Francisco.

The Hon. Eugene Brott, retired State Bar Court judge, will cover topics such as: What's the Drug of Choice? Do Trial Attorneys Have It Worse? Is There A Way Out? and Special Risks for Women.

On Friday, January 12, BASF is offering Sex, Drugs and Rock-n-Roll from noon to 1:30 p.m., also at the CLE Auditorium.

Carol Langford, Law Offices of Carol Langford, will examine substance abuse issues including mental health issues and their impact on the lawyer's practice, including current developments in state bar disciplinary matters.
