AZ Bar Will Discuss Procedures For Electronic Filing

The State Bar of Arizona is offering a CLE seminar titled The New E-Filing Requirements ... "How Do I File a Court Pleading Electronically?"

The program will take place on Thursday, November 15 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Desert Botanical Garden, 1201 North Galvin Parkway, Phoenix.

The faculty will cover issues such as: the new e-filing rules; the mechanics of filing a pleading electronically; what equipment is needed for e-filing and e-practice; accessing full-text electronic versions of filed pleadings, exhibits and orders; how to file non-computer generated documents such as hand-written exhibits or photographs, how to conduct a paperless trial, accomplishing service of process electronically, and how e-filing and e-practice saves time and money.

The program chair is Joe Silberschlag, Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court, Maricopa County.
