AZ Bar Seminar Will Explain New E-Filing Requirements

The State Bar of Arizona is planning a CLE seminar titled The New E-Filing Requirements ... "How Do I File a Court Pleading Electronically?"

The program will take place on Friday, February 29 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the State Bar of Arizona, 4201 North 24th Street, Phoenix.

This seminar will explain the new e-filing requirements and attempt to answer questions such as: How do I file a court pleading electronically? What equipment do I need for e-filing and e-practice and how much will it cost? Can I access full text versions of filed pleadings, exhibits and orders? How do I file non-computer-generated documents, such as handwritten exhibits or photographs? Are e-filed documents secure from computer viruses? Can I accomplish service of process electronically? How will e-filing and e-practice save me time and money?

The program chair is Joe Silberberg, Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court, Maricopa County.
