The Dallas-Ft. Worth Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America this month is planning a luncheon featuring noted author Scott Turow, followed by pro bono training and cocktail party as a kickoff celebration of the chapter's pro bono activities for the coming year.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at a location to be announced.
In addition to a career as an author, Mr. Turow continues to work as a partner in the Chicago office of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, where he spends much of his time on pro bono matters, including a successful appeal that freed an inmate after 12 years in prison, five of which were spent on death row.
