Fried Frank announced today that Audra A. Cohen has joined the firm as a partner in its Asset Management Practice, based in New York. She joins from Goodwin, where she was a partner in the firm’s private investment funds practice and real estate industry business unit. Prior to that, she was a partner in the private funds practice at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
Cohen has experience advising major sponsors on all aspects of fund formation, fundraising, negotiations and compliance in connection with closed- and open-end real estate, private equity and infrastructure funds. Cohen has experience advising sponsors on regulatory compliance, fund-related aspects of real estate and M&A deals, continuation funds, other liquidity events and internal governance and economic arrangements.
