Norris McLaughlin welcomes Arnold L. Bartfeld as senior counsel. He joins the firm’s real estate and finance practice group, concentrating his practice in the area of financial services.
Bartfeld represents institutional lenders and developers in real estate financings, as well as in commercial banking transactions. He has extensive experience representing clients in real estate joint ventures in connection with the financing and refinancing of office buildings; assisting developers in acquisitions and the privatization of public housing projects; and construction and other types of commercial loans. In addition, he is experienced in handling acquisitions and loans for commercial and residential condo developers; complex and multi bank restructurings, and workouts of real estate and commercial credit transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Bartfeld was a partner at Reed Smith and Anderson Kill & Olick, P.C., he also served as general counsel for European American Bank and Fidelity Bank.
