Arizona Bar To Offer Trial Series During March And April

The State Bar of Arizona is planning a four-part Trial Courtroom Series this month and next.

Sessions will take place on Mondays from noon to 1 p.m. at the Pima County Superior Court, 110 West Congress Street, Tucson, AZ. The schedule includes:


March 19, Juror Notebooks and the Last 30 Days before Trial, featuring speakers the Hon. Deborah Bernini, Pima County Superior Court; Jim Fein, Fein Flynn & Associates, and John Kastner, Kimble Nelson Audilett & Kastner PC;


March 26, Trial Witnesses, featuring speakers the Hon. Carmine Cornelio, Pima County Superior Court; Dev Sethi, Kinerk Beal Schmidt Dyer & Sethi PC, and Katie Rogers, Slutes Sakrison & Hill PC;


April 2, Evidence and Objections, featuring speakers Judge Bernini, Karl Lautz, Haralson Miller Pitt Feldman & McAnally PLC, and Tony Langan, Chandler & Udall LLP;


April 9, Judgments as a Matter of Law & Post Trial Motions, featuring speakers the Hon. Sally Simmons, Pima County Superior Court; Sandy Forbes, sole practitioner, and Todd Hale, Lewis and Roca LLP.
