Boutique law firm, Crawford & Acharya pllc, launches in Miami and Boston. The firm, which specializes in corporate compliance and investigations, is the brainchild of accomplished lawyers Angela Crawford and Lila Acharya. Together, they have over 35 years of combined legal expertise and have conducted over 150 investigations, trainings, and compliance reviews in more than 30 countries around the world.
The pair has an enviable track record advising global clients in a number of industries, including life sciences, retail, food and beverage, manufacturing, defense, and technology. Collectively they have experience as outside counsel at DLA Piper LLP, Ropes & Gray LLP, and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, three of the world’s most prestigious law firms; as in-house counsel at global elites, including Rolls-Royce plc and Pfizer; and as prosecutors. The duo met several years ago working together on an investigation in Dubai when Lila was in-house counsel and Angela was outside counsel.
The new boutique challenges the traditional notions of corporate compliance and investigations by offering a client-centric, collaborative, and forward-thinking approach to legal services. The firm has a bold and innovative model that allows them to act as true partners to their clients and offer fee arrangements tailored to their clients’ needs.
