Freshfields announced today that Andrew Gladstein has joined the firm’s litigation practice as a partner in New York.
Andrew’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. He has represented investment managers and alternative investment funds in a variety of civil matters and regulatory investigations.
Andrew’s arrival follows last year’s addition of Co-Head of US Litigation Gayle Klein and strategically expands the firm’s US capabilities. Gayle said, “Andy will be an immediate asset to our commercial litigation practice. He has an innate ability to distinguish between legal and commercial advice and guide clients in meeting their business goals, and he also has a great enthusiasm for developing younger attorneys. He will play a key role in the expansion of our client offering and the development of the next generation of Freshfields litigators. We are excited to welcome Andy to the firm.”
US Managing Partner Sarah Solum noted, “Andy is an excellent addition to the Freshfields litigation team. The expansion of our commercial litigation practice allows us to more effectively serve our clients in the US and around the world, including leading private equity and other funds.
“I am excited to be joining Freshfields at a time of such momentum and strategic focus for the firm. The opportunity to contribute to the firm's diverse and robust global platform alongside such a talented team was one that I could not pass up," added Andrew.
