Anderson Kill announced that Peter A. Halprin, Raymond A. Mascia, Jr. and Vianny Pichardo Paulino, attorneys in the firm's New York office and members of the firm's Insurance Recovery Group, have been promoted to shareholder.

Horkovich, Anderson Kill's managing shareholder.Peter A. Halprin concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and insurance recovery, with a focus on alternative dispute resolution. He has litigated, mediated and arbitrated claims involving a broad range of insurance policies and recovered hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance proceeds for policyholders. This work includes advising companies on pre-litigation insurance matters with a focus on recovery strategies in relation to class action lawsuits, cyber breaches, natural disasters, professional liability disputes, and regulatory investigations. Peter is deputy co-chair of Anderson Kill's Cyber Insurance Recovery Practice Group. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the AAA Panel of Neutrals.
Raymond A. Mascia, Jr. concentrates his practice in insurance recovery and commercial litigation. His insurance recovery practice focuses on disputes involving complex long-tail claims, including environmental liabilities and asbestos claims. He also has extensive experience in coverage disputes involving professional liability and property insurance policies. He has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance proceeds for policyholders, with an emphasis on governmental entities, corporate policyholders, and asbestos trusts. Ray joined Anderson Kill in 2009 and returned in 2015 after serving for two years as a law clerk to the Honorable Joanna Seybert of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He is a member of the Insurance Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
Vianny Pichardo Paulino has extensive litigation and trial experience representing large corporate clients in insurance coverage disputes concerning general liability, product liability, transaction liability, professional and D&O liability, business interruption, and property damage claims. She is a member of Anderson Kill's Cyber Practice as well as the Women's Initiative Group and Diversity Committee. Recognized by Super Lawyers as a New York Metro Rising Star for Insurance Coverage since 2015, Vianny is a recipient of the 2018 Hispanic National Bar Association’s Top Lawyers under 40 award and the Fordham LALSA’s 2017 Andrew A. Rivera Alumni Achievement Award. She is also the past President of the Dominican Bar Association and founder of the DBA’s Women’s Committee, Las Mariposas. She is a member of the Mayor's Advisory Committee on The Judiciary and the Latino Justice PRLDEF’s Líderes Board.
