Holland & Hart announced that attorney Allison Pofit Altaras has joined the firm as a partner in the Denver office, enhancing the firm’s land use and real estate development capabilities.
Allison is a valued advisor to developers, investors, and landowners buying, selling, financing, entitling, developing, or redeveloping projects in Colorado and throughout the Mountain West. In addition to her extensive transactional experience, her command of zoning and land use matters is invaluable to clients pursuing ground-up development or repositioning land or assets for sale. She has considerable experience with mixed-use and master planned communities and multi-family, commercial, resort, and industrial development. Allison also handles the financing and development of horizontal infrastructure and utilities.
“We are delighted Allison has joined our team,” said Doug Flowers, leader of the firm’s Real Estate and Finance practice. “She brings specialized experience in municipal and land use law that is essential to help clients secure approvals so projects can proceed. Her background in natural resources law, and expertise handling water and mineral issues, are beneficial for our rural and mountain landowner clients, as well. Allison also brings experience leading DEI, recruitment, mentoring, and legislative work and we look forward to the many contributions she will make towards the citizenship of Holland & Hart.”
“I thrive in collaborative working environments and am excited about Holland & Hart’s team-focused culture and wholistic approach to client service,” said Allison. “I also look forward to serving the firm’s renewables and affordable housing industry groups—Holland & Hart’s clients are leaders in some of the most important development matters of our times.”
Before joining Holland & Hart, Allison was a partner at a boutique Denver real estate firm.
