ALI-ABA Examines Tax-Exempt Charitable Organizations

On Thursday and Friday, October 21 and 22, American Law Institute-American Bar Association will look at the latest developments in Tax-Exempt Charitable Organizations.

The event will be held at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center located at 775 12th Street, NW in Washington, DC. The seminar begins Thursday at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:45 p.m.On Friday it runs from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

The two-day seminar will provide the opportunity for participants to meet with leading practitioners, top government officials, insurance experts and compensation consultants, who will address the sophisticated current issues and the latest developments affecting section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations. The faculty will offer strategies and techniques for better counseling of exempt organizations and best practices in representing these groups before the IRS.
