On Tuesday, February 9, Akin Gump will present M&A Transactions from A to Z - How to Get the Deal Done.
The session will run from noon to 1:30 at Akin Gump's New York office, One Bryant Park, 43rd Floor in New York. A complimentary lunch is included. There is no charge for the program, but registration by Tuesday, February 2 is required.
Adam K. Weinstein and Jeffrey L. Kochian, both partners with Akin Gump, will explain the structural criteria that should be evaluated when considering the appropriate form of transaction and the circumstances under which certain forms of transaction are more beneficial than others; the various types of due diligence that should be conducted; the provisions that should be included in the acquisition agreement in addition to the fundamental terms; and the circumstances under which ancillary agreements, such as carveouts, employment agreements, and vesting, should be included as part of the transaction documentation.
