Effective August 12, 2019, Akin Gump's Hartford office has relocated to 65 Memorial Road, Suite C340, West Hartford, CT.
Launched in 2018, Akin Gump’s Hartford office includes lawyers who work with insurance companies and other institutional investors in complex domestic and cross-border private placement financings, workouts and global financial restructurings.
The opening of the Hartford office coincided with the arrival of a four-partner financial restructuring and global debt finance team to the firm. Renée M. Dailey, Christopher E. Lawrence and Chester L. (“Chip”) Fisher all joined Akin Gump in Hartford, while Thomas F. O’Connor joined the firm’s London office. More information about their arrival can be found here.
