Advice From The Missouri Bar On The Risk Of Practicing In A Troubled Economy

On several dates in May and June this year, the Missouri Bar is presenting a seminar titled 2009 Risk Management: Malpractice and Ethics Risks of Practicing Law in an Uncertain Economy. The program will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 11:50 a.m. at each location.

Among other locales, the Missouri Bar will host the program on Wednesday, May 20 at the University Plaza Hotel in Springfield; on Thursday, May 28 at the Holiday Inn Southwest & Viking Conference Center, St. Louis; on Monday, June 8 at the Marriott Country Club Plaza, Kansas City; and on Monday, June 29 at the Sheraton Westport Plaza Tower, St. Louis.

The speakers for this timely program will be Christian A. Stiegemeyer, executive vice president, The Bar Plan Foundation; and Christina M. Lewis, risk manager, The Bar Plan Mutual Insurance Company.
