Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce Adriana R. Ochoa has joined the San Diego office as a partner. Ochoa will be part of the firm’s Special Litigation and Compliance practice group, where she will concentrate on providing guidance to private clients and public agencies, including healthcare districts and water and wastewater authorities, regarding governance, operational, and other public law matters, including the acquisition and negotiation of public services. Her experience incorporates the Ralph M. Brown Act, California Public Records Act, Political Reform Act, Government Code 1090, California Voting Rights Act, Proposition 218, public works contracting, operational and business issues, as well as litigation.
Ochoa is actively engaged with the San Diego County Bar Association, the San Diego Lawyer’s Club, the American Bar Association, and the California Association of Sanitation Agencies. She has previously served as president of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association Scholarship Fund, and has participated in the American Inns of Court Louis M. Welsh Chapter and LEAD San Diego.
Ochoa earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and holds a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University.
