On Monday evening, May 17, the ACCA-SoCal chapter is hosting an event titled Improve Your Networking I.Q. and Network with Your Colleagues at the Upstairs2 Wine Bar, 2311 Cotner Avenue in Los Angeles.
A free event that is open to all in-house lawyers, whether they are employed or in transition, this is an opportunity to use your emotional intelligence to enhance your business and personal relationships. Two professionals will be on hand to discuss the how to's of social interactions: Donna Wanser, an attorney and Ph.D. candidate, will share her findings from her study of lawyers, and Peter Leets, president of a global coaching firm and an executive coach, will discuss the value of networking and how to work through the challenging relationships you are likely to encounter in your career. Their talks will be followed by a short speed-networking clinic.
In-house lawyers who are not ACC members will receive a three-month free trial ACC membership.
