ACC To Assist With Group Home Makeover

On Saturday, October 24 the South Florida Chapter of ACC will partner with United Cerebral Palsy of Miami to volunteer time to make one of the organization's group homes more beautiful and functional for the residents.

The work begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. at the UCP Sky Lake Group Homelocated at 2001 NE 171st Street, Miami, Florida.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to give back to the community as they assist in the home repairs and landscaping of a five-person Miami UCP home. In addition, the Heart Gallery, a nonprofit group working with foster children, will be on-site to accept donations from volunteers of gently used luggage and duffle bags, which will be donated to foster children to assist them in moving personal belongings in a presentable suitcase rather than plastic trash bags.
