ACC St. Louis Plans Corporate Counsel Institute

ACC St. Louis is teaming up with BAMSL to host the 30th Annual Corporate Counsel Institute on Thursday, May 12.

It will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac, 1335 South Lindbergh Blvd. in St. Louis.

In the morning, legal and practical insights on privacy issues and cloud computing will be covered by lawyers with Thompson Coburn, LLP, followed by an ethics discussion with lawyers from the firm Williams, Venker & Sanders LLC.

Doing business in China will be discussed with lawyers from Armstrong Teasdale LLP, and two breakout sessions - 50 practice points and trends and issues affecting intellectual property - will follow.

After lunch, A Lawyer as Entrepreneur; Email Use Policy; Labor and Employment Law Update; and a Healthcare Update will be offered. The program will end with a general counsel roundtable that includes Susan M. Denigan of Nestle Purina PetCare Company, David G. Kabbes of Bunge North America, Inc., and Martin Kerckhoff, American Water Company.
