ACC Plans Fifth Annual Corporate Counsel University

The Association of Corporate Counsel America this month will present its fifth annual Corporate Counsel University under the theme New Challenges, New Solutions.

The conference will take place Sunday-Tuesday, April 29-May 1 at the Hyatt Regency in St. Louis. Sessions will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Open only to in-house counsel, the Corporate Counsel University is designed to provide skills proven to make attendees better lawyers. Among the seminar topics will be: Hallmarks of a Successful In-House Practitioner; Creating a Business/Legal Partnership With Clients; Revenue Recognition From the Lawyer's Perspective; Building Better Negotiation Skills; Conflicts of Interest - Who Is Your Client, and Avoiding (and If All Else Fails Planning for) Litigation.
