On Wednesday, January 13, the ACC Europe chapter will hold a seminar titled Developing a Global Privacy Compliance Program to discuss the problems faced by companies implementing a global compliance program.
It will run from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Bird & Bird LLP, 15 Fetter Lane, London EC4A 1 JP.
The seminar will cover the particular problems faced by companies based outside of the EU and the binding corporate rules approval process. The panelists will include Bojana Bellamy, director of data privacy, Accenture; Ruth Boardman, partner and coauthor, Data Protection Strategy, Bird & Bird; and Sue Gold, executive counsel, corporate legal, The Walt Disney Company Ltd.
