ACC Northeast Chapter Looks At Privacy Issues In The Digital Age

On Thursday, April 8, the Northeast Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel will present a program examining privacy issues and the effects on the company of an employee's online activities titled Workplaces Woes of Web 2.0 - Privacy Issues in a Digital Age.

The seminar is located at the offices of the McLane Law Firm, City Hall Plaza, 900 Elm Street, Manchester, New Hampshire. It will begin at 3:45 p.m. and end at 6:00 p.m.

Attendees will learn how the Electronic Communications Privacy Act protects an employee's electronic activities from being examined by their employer.The seminar will address an employer's rights and responsibilities with respect to recovering and reviewing an employee's online electronic activities and the measures companies should take to address these new technologies.

The speakers include Andrea Chatfield, Linda Johnson, Colleen Karpinsky and Cameron Shilling of the McLane Law Firm.
