ACC Nevada Teams Up With Jackson Lewis, Explores Labor & Employment Law

On Thursday, October 13, the ACC Nevada chapter will team up with Jackson Lewis to offer a Labor & Employment Law Symposium.

It will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Stirling Club, 2827 Paradise Road in Las Vegas.

This event, designed for in-house corporate counsel and human resources professionals, offers CLE credits, breakfast and lunch and a cocktail reception. Among the workshops being offered arepreparing for and surviving I-9 and H-1 audits; cyber nightmares that keep employers up at night; labor statutes, rules and regulations you need to know; OSHA update; critical changes impacting health care reform; and what plaintiffs' attorneys look for when targeting a company for wage and hour class action. A roundtable discussion at the end of the program will feature all of the day's presenters, who will answer question about the symposium's topics.

Among the speakers, all from Jackson Lewis, are David Jones, Elayna Youchah, Gary Moss, Paul Trimmer, Paul DeCamp and Kathy Barrow.
