Recently, Association of Corporate Counsel president and CEO Veta T. Richardson visited the New York Stock Exchange NYSE Euronext and rang the closing bell.
Ms. Richardson joined executives from Corpedia and Corporate Board Members at the New York Stock Exchange NYSE Euronext to engage in a series of panel discussions about emerging business and legal issues. During the program, Richardson moderated a panel discussion on the evolving role of the chief legal officer (CLO). The session offered insights into the role of in-house lawyers as business executives, managing outside legal costs, and other issues that keep CLOs up at night. The remaining sessions provided insights from compliance officers and CEOs on topics related to communicating with board members, governance and performance.
