The Dallas-Fort Worth ACC chapter has planned the In-House Counsel and Pro Bono Representation program on two dates and locations.
On Thursday, June 16, it will be held in Dallas at Maggiano's, 8687 N. Central Expy, and on Tuesday, June 21, it will be held in Fort Worth at the Shady Oaks Country Club. It will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. both days.
Topics to be covered include competency, identification of the client, scoping the engagement, co-counseling and other collaborations, conflicts of interest, and attorney-client privilege. Lawyers from the firm Baker & McKenzie LLP will discuss these issues.
