ACC Charlotte Seminar Reviews Green Leasing And Sustainable Initiatives

The Charlotte Chapter of the Association for Corporate Counsel will examine green leasing and sustainable initiatives in North Carolina on Wednesday, April 13, from noon until 1:00 p.m. at the offices of K&L Gates, 214 North Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The speaker, Peter McLean, partner at K&L Gates LLP, will discuss green leasing and other strategic sustainable initiatives. This program will provide an overview of green leases and sustainability efforts in the workplace, including a discussion of the basic elements of a green lease, the mechanics of developing and structuring a green lease program, both as a landlord and as a tenant, and possible ways to ensure both the landlord and tenant benefit financially from a green lease structure.The presentation will also address current trends in sustainability in the corporate marketplace.
