ACC Celebrates Membership Growth And Founding Of Its 54th Chapter

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the premier global bar association serving the interests of in-house counsel, today announced the founding of its 54th chapter, the ACC Kentucky Chapter.

The new chapter will serve corporate counsel members in the cities of Louisville, Lexington and its surrounding areas. It will also provide a vast array of CLE programs, legal resources and initiatives for attorneys who practice in legal departments of corporations, associations and other private-sector organizations in the state of Kentucky.

Members of the Kentucky Chapter are attorneys that represent the interests of more than 60 corporations in the area including Humana, Texas Roadhouse and Yum Brands Inc.

“I would like to congratulate members of the Kentucky Chapter’s organizing committee for putting forth this initiative and connecting their colleagues to our global network,” said Veta T. Richardson, ACC’s president and CEO. “Through their enthusiasm, dedication and desire to contribute to the world’s leading network of in-house counsel, I believe our newest members and the chapter will greatly enhance ACC and the business interests of attorneys around the world.”

The chapter’s officers include Omar Amin, Churchill Downs Incorporated, (president); Sandra Adams, Signature HealthCARE, LLC (vice president); Scott Catlett, Yum Brands Inc. (vice president); Donna Schneiter, Res-Care (vice president); Jeff Gordon, Sun Tan City (vice president and secretary); and Curtis McCubbin, Hilliard Lyons (vice president and treasurer).
