ABA To Examine Class Actions In Washington, DC Seminar

On Friday, November 20, join the American Bar Association to explore the latest developments in class action litigation. This event will be at the Willard InterContinental Hotel located at 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington DC.

The seminar will take place from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting with a breakfast; the meetings will begin at 9 a.m.

Any attorney who negotiates class actions will benefit from this program. Attendees will learn about the latest in class action litigation. A section presented by Professor John C. Coffee of Columbia Law School will feature a look at arbitration, class action waivers and settlement issues. A roundtable discussion will follow in the afternoon looking at current issues in class actions such as tactics on settlement of class actions, waivers and arbitration clauses. The roundtable discussion with three federal judges will be moderated by Professor Arthur R. Miller of the New York University School of Law.
