ABA Teleconference Focus: Sport Sponsorship Transactions

As part of the ABA forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries 2010 Teleconference Series, the association will present Identification and Negotiation of Key Issues in Sport Sponsorship and Facility Naming Rights Transactions.

The teleconference and live audio webcast will be presented on Wednesday, March 24, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. mountain time and 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Pacific.

The faculty will discuss key issues, both legal and business, involved in sport sponsorship and facility naming rights transactions and strategies for negotiating these issues. Some of the topics for this panel discussion include structuring and payment of rights fees, protection mechanisms in response to a challenged economy, make-goods concept in general, category exclusivity/ ambush marketing issues, remedies, name changes, and typical and atypical entitlements.
