The American Bar Association's Antitrust Section is holding their annual Forum on Antitrust Law Thursday and Friday, November 12 and 13. The event will be at the National Press Club, 529 14th Street NW in Washington, D.C.
The two-day meeting will run from 8:15 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Thursday and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
The ABA will bring together senior government enforcers, experienced practitioners and scholars to address important antitrust issues currently facing businesses and their antitrust counselors. Sessions include cutting-edge antitrust and competition policy issues with domestic and international implications such as Adapting to a New Enforcement Environment; Major Developments Overseas; and Will Non-Antitrust Considerations Impact Competition Law Enforcement? Views from around the World.
The program will feature keynote speaker Hon. William E. Kovacic, commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission, Washington, DC.
Other moderators and speakers include Deborah A. Garza (conference chair and moderator), Covington & Burling LLP; David P. Wales Jr., Jones Day; Helene D. Jaffe, Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP; and Diana Moss, director and vice president, American Antitrust Institute.
