South Florida ACC Chapter Plans Corporate Counsel Institute 2004

The South Florida Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America will present its Corporate Counsel Institute 2004.It will take place on Thursday, September 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Wyndham Ft. Lauderdale Airport, 1870 Griffin Road, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Co-sponsors for the event include West Group, Special Counsel, Holland & Knight LLP, Carlton Fields, and Zuckerman, Spader, Arnstein & Lehr.

The morning session will be highlighted by Rick Schoenfield, an author for Westlaw who recently released a new book, Legal Negotiations: Getting Maximum Results.

The featured luncheon speaker will be Caroline H. Miller, senior counsel with the U.S. Department of Justice and member of the Florida Bar Professional Committee, who will discuss ethics.

The afternoon breakout sessions will include topics on employment law, international contracts, hiring outside counsel, and the attorney-client privilege.
