Program Will Compare Arbitration, Mediation

The MidAmerica Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America has rescheduled a CLE seminar titled Arbitration and Mediation from January to Wednesday, March 9.

The program will compare and contrast arbitration and mediation, present a panel of corporate counsel to discuss their views and experience, and analyze what works and what doesn't when drafting arbitration and mediation provisions in contracts.

Gene Balloun, Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P., will serve as program moderator. Panelists will include other Shook Hardy attorneys to be announced and corporate counsel speakers including Mark Baldwin, Data Systems; Barry Katz, Hallmark, and Marc Elkins, Cerner.

The program will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shook Hardy offices, 2555 Grand Boulevard, 25th Floor, Kansas City, MO. There is no registration fee for the program.
