Offscript, the parent company of REVOLT and other culture-driven brands, has named Endi Piper as its new General Counsel. Piper brings over two decades of legal leadership across media and entertainment, including senior roles at The SpringHill Company, Complex Media, TV One, and BET.
At The SpringHill Company—founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter—Piper served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, overseeing legal affairs for subsidiaries such as UNINTERRUPTED and The Shop. She previously led legal strategy at Complex Media during its co-ownership by Hearst and Verizon and its acquisition by BuzzFeed. Earlier in her career, Piper held senior legal roles at TV One, where she also oversaw human resources and standards and practices, as well as positions at BET, Scripps Networks, and Urban One.
Beyond her corporate work, Piper is a committed advocate for equity and legal education. She serves on the board of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA), has worked with foster youth through CASA in Maryland, and has taught commercial law to Black lawyers in South Africa and Namibia via the International Senior Lawyers Project.
Piper holds a B.A. in Spanish Language and Linguistics and a J.D. from the University of Virginia, and she completed Harvard Business School’s Cable Executive Management Program. Her accolades include recognition as a "Top Lawyer" and one of the "Most Influential Minorities in Cable" by Cablefax, as well as inclusion in InsideCounsel’s R-3 100 list of rising in-house women lawyers.
"I am incredibly excited to join Offscript and continue my passion for aligning legal strategy with creative innovation," Piper stated. "The company's dynamic approach to cultural storytelling presents a unique opportunity, and I look forward to contributing to its ongoing success."
Offscript, which also houses 440 Artists, Six Zeros, Rap-Up, and Rebel House, continues to expand its influence in creator-driven media. With Piper's appointment, the company aims to strengthen its commitment to cultural innovation and legal excellence.
