Michelle Moosally Named as GC at Citizens Financial Group

Citizens Financial Group, Inc. announced appointments to the company's Executive Committee that will help further accelerate its strategic growth agenda.

Michelle Moosally was named as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at Citizens Financial Group, effective May 15. Moosally will report to Chairman and CEO Bruce Van Saun and will lead the company's legal department, with responsibility including corporate governance, litigation and employment, client advisory services, regulatory relations and government relations.

Moosally has nearly 25 years of legal experience at large financial institutions and leading law firms. Most recently, Moosally served as Global Head, Regulatory Relations at Wells Fargo where she led a large team overseeing its enterprise-wide regulatory matters. Moosally previously worked at Santander, where she served as General Counsel of Corporate & Investment Banking and Commercial Banking. Prior to that, she served in increasingly responsible roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP.
