Lakshmi Williams Appointed CLO and GC of Hornblower Group

Lakshmi Williams has been appointed the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel by Hornblower Group. With an extensive career across the transportation, energy, and technological sectors, Williams brings a wealth of legal expertise and strategic leadership to the organization.

In her new role, Williams will oversee all legal matters within the Hornblower Group. She will guide the company's legal strategies, in addition to providing critical counsel to the executive team amidst the expansion of the company's global presence.

Before joining Hornblower Group, Williams held prominent legal leadership roles at Transurban Group, one of the largest transportation infrastructure companies globally. There, she served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of North America, playing an integral role in governance, compliance, and risk management. Williams contributions were critical in executing multi-million-dollar projects, including the acquisition of a Canadian company for $1 billion, as well as facilitating joint ventures and managing complex litigation.

William's legal career spans several industries, with prior experience as in-house counsel at GridPoint Inc. and MicroStrategy Incorporated. She holds a bachelor's degree from Rice University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School.
