Conference Focus: Security StandardsIn Design, Construction, Sale Of Buildings



The firm of Zetlin & DiChiara LLP and Marsh this month are planning a conference titled Security and Terrorism: Evolving Standards for the Design, Construction and Real Estate Industries Post 9/11.


The conference, co-sponsored by The Real Estate Board of New York, the New York Building Congress, and The American Institute of Architects/New York State, is scheduled for Tuesday, May 25.


Opening remarks will be delivered by Michael S. Zetlin, senior partner at Zetlin & DiChiara, and Michael P. Golden, managing director and head of New York operations for Marsh.


Speakers will include Stephen T. Colo, senior vice president, SAIC, and former deputy assistant director for technology and CIO, U.S. Secret Service; James Kallstrom, senior advisor to New York Gov. George Pataki for Counter Terrorism, and former chief, New York Division, FBI; John Paczkowski, director of operations for emergency management, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; Robert E. Selsam, senior vice president and regional manager, New York Office, Boston Properties, Inc., and John Ulianko, director of Northeast and Caribbean Region, Department of Homeland Security.


The conference will take place from 8:15 to 10 a.m. at the Second Floor Auditorium, McGraw Hill Building, 1221 Sixth Avenue, New York City. Breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m.
