Lionsgate has extended the contract of Bruce Tobey, who will continue serving as Executive Vice President and General Counsel through March 2028, according to an April 9, 2025 SEC Form 8-K filing.
Tobey, who joined the company in 2023, oversees all legal matters across the studio’s operations, including corporate governance, litigation, regulatory compliance, and major transactions. He also plays a central role in the legal strategy supporting Lionsgate’s planned separation of its studio and Starz streaming businesses.
CEO Jon Feltheimer praised Tobey as “a trusted adviser” whose leadership is vital at a “critical inflection point” for the company.
