As part of its CLE Series for In-House Counsel 2004, the firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP is offering a seminar titled Air Transportation in a State of Flux.
The session will take place on Wednesday, August 18 from noon to 1:15 p.m. at the firm's Dallas, TX office at 1700 Pacific Avenue.
The seminar presenter will be Akin Gump attorney David T. Norton. He will provide an overview of the legal paradigm that corporate and business operators face when using such equipment, including Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation and Internal Revenue Service regulatory issues, state and local tax concerns, transportation security, and Securities and Exchange Commission issues, as well as the various civil liabilities that can arise with aircraft ownership and use.
