Meet-The-Author Cozen O'Connor Attorneys To Present At 2005 PLUS International Conference

Cozen O'Connor members Linda Kaiser and Richard J. Bortnick will be presenters at the November 13-15 Professional Life Underwriting Society (PLUS) International Conference. Now in its 18th year and titled Under the Microscope - Navigating the Political, Economic and Regulatory Issues Facing the Professional Liability Industry, the PLUS Conference will be held at the Boston Sheraton & Boston Marriott Copley Place in Boston.

Ms. Kaiser will be one of five featured speakers in a Monday, November 14 (2-3:30 p.m.) session, titled The Regulatory Tsunami: The Impact of the Regulatory Environment on Professional Liability and the Insurance Industry at Large. The session is slated to cover professional liability and exposures, in light of recent state and federal regulatory and legislative changes.

Also on November 14 (3:45-5 p.m.), Mr. Bortnick will join four other featured speakers in a session, titled Good News: The World is Shrinking...Bad News: Now Everyone Can Get Sued! Transnational Issues Affecting D&O: A New Horizon. The session will address directors and officers liability from the perspective of U.S. exposures affecting foreign executives and foreign exposures affecting U.S.-based executives.
