VSB Slates 66th Annual Meeting June 17-19



The Virginia State Bar Association (VSB) has scheduled its 66th Annual Meeting for Thursday through Saturday, June 17-19 at the Cavalier Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach, VA.


The gathering will include a full schedule of CLE seminars and a variety of special events.


On Saturday morning following the annual business meeting, the Young Lawyers Conference will present a special session titled Get a Life: Creating, Maintaining and Living With the Complete Lawyer, featuring a presentation by U.S. Magistrate Judge Carl Horne III and a panel discussion that will offer practical suggestions for seeking fulfillment in a legal career and balance in one's personal life.


The featured speaker at the annual banquet set for Friday evening will be Robert J. Grey Jr., president-elect of the American Bar Association. David P. Bobizen, a Fairfax, VA attorney, will be installed at the banquet as the next VSB president.


Virginia CLE's 30th Annual Recent Developments in the Law Seminar is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday.
