SoCal ACCA Chapter PlansLuncheon Seminar, Annual Dinner

Among the items currently listed on the calendar of the Southern California Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America (ACCA SoCal) are a pair of events of interest to all in-house counsel.

On Wednesday, February 23, the chapter will present a networking roundtable lunch seminar titled What to Do When Your Secrets Have Been Stolen.

Scott Feldman of Crowell & Moring will lead a discussion on potential secrets, avoiding unintentional liability, common misappropriation scenarios, dealing with a misappropriation, and litigation strategies and tactics.

The session will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Filenet Corporation, 3665 Harbor Boulevard, Costa Mesa, CA.

On Friday, March 4, the chapter also is planning its 10th Annual Gala Dinner and Pro Bono Silent Auction.

The featured speaker will be former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. The event also will include presentation of the Corporate Counsel of the Year Eagle Award and the Pro Bono Counsel of the Year Justice Award.

The dinner will take place at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel,404 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles. A networking cocktail reception and silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner following at 6:45 p.m.
