Sheppard Mullin Partner Peter Carson Elected President of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers

Last weekend, Sheppard Mullin partner Peter Carson was elected President of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers at its annual Meeting in Montreal. The College, an honorary professional association of over 300 distinguished practitioners, jurists and academics, promotes the field of commercial finance law, including through education and legislative reform. Peter follows in the large footsteps of retired Sheppard Mullin partners John Berchild, who served as President, 2003 -2004, and Bill Burke, who was recognized with the College’s prestigious Homer Kripke lifetime achievement award in 2009 (while summiting Mt. Everest at age 67).
