SF Bar Seminar Takes New Look At Arbitration

On Thursday, May 19, the Bar Association of San Francisco will offer a CLE event titled Re-Imagining Arbitration.

It will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.

Speakers Zela Claiborne and Hon. Read Amble (ret.), both of JAMS, Inc., will offer the following discussion on arbitration: how inside and outside counsel can create a customized process to fit each particular case; reducing costs by involving a managerial arbitrator at the onset; getting from demand to award expeditiously: streamline discovery, develop efficient hearing processes, and give clients more input in the process; and selecting appropriate arbitration rules, including expedited procedures where available.
