Seminar Focus: Online Compliance Options

The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America (NY ACC-A) and theIntegrity Interactive Corporation this month are planning a CLE seminartitled Online Options for Meetingthe Ethics and Compliance Obligationsof Sarbanes-Oxley and the New Changes to the Organizational Sentencing Guidelines.

The program will take place on Tuesday. January 25 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Huntington Hilton. 598 Broadhollow Road. Melville. NY.

As amended effective November 1. the Sentencing Guidelines for Organizational Defendants now provide great detail as to what constitutes an effective compliance and ethics program. This program will examine the implications of the amended Guidelines for corporate ethics and compliance programs and how they relate to companies' efforts to implement related listing requirements and provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Susan Cutright. senior advisor at Integrity Interactive. will address the expected impact of the amendments and discuss expected changes to ethics and compliance training programs.

Michael Salvaressa. director of compliance systems and records management at Altria Corporate Services. Inc.. will describe the technological. logistical and operational aspects of deploying Internet-based ethics and compliance training to a worldwide population.
