Philadelphia Seminar Reviews Delaware Law Developments

On May 18, the Practising Law Institute is planning a seminar to examine recent Delaware Law Developments: What All Business Lawyers Need to Know. The event will be at the PBI CLE Conference Center located at the Wanamaker Building in Central Philadelphia. It begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.

Delaware law plays a critical role in U.S. corporate and securities law, particularly in today's challenging and changing business environment. The program will focus on important Delaware corporate law developments over the past year and the practical impact on corporate or legal practice. Top Delaware corporate law experts, law experts from the Delaware judiciary, leading law firms and corporations will examine the latest case law and trends and share their real-world experiences as well as insights on the issues of concern to the corporate and securities legal community.

The keynote speaker is William B. Chandler, chancellor, Delaware Court of Chancery. Other speakers include J. Travis Laser, vice chancellor, Delaware Court of Chancery; Thomas A. Cole, Sidley Austin LLP; Gregory P. Williams, Richards Layton & Finger, P.A.; and Raymond J. McGuire, head, Global Banking, Citigroup Global Markets.
