Norris McLaughlin & Marcus Launches Cannabis Law Practice Group and Blog

The law firm of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A. announced the launch of its multi-disciplinary Cannabis Law Practice Group. As the legalization of medical and recreational marijuana continues to grow by leaps and bounds, the group was formed to meet the legal needs of employers, health care professionals, entrepreneurs, suppliers, growers, retailers, and investors dealing with a broad range of issues affecting the industry.

The group, chaired by Member Keya C. Denner, will provide legal services relating to all aspects of the law including labor and employment, intellectual property, real estate, environmental, banking, health care, corporate, tax, and licensing and regulatory matters. “We are well situated to be at the forefront of law firms practicing in the cannabis industry in our region. Our attorneys have the breadth of subject matter and depth of knowledge to assist our clients in navigating through what can seem like a minefield of traps for the unwary,” Denner said. “Having major offices in the tri-state area allows us to assist our clients in the geographic area many predict to be the next boom region in the cannabis industry.”

The group has also launched a cannabis law blog, “Legally Grown,” which is dedicated to news and legal developments pertaining to the cannabis industry. It will serve as a central source of information for clients and readers to keep ahead of the curve in real time. To subscribe, please visit www.NMLegallyGrown.com.
