MCCA Will Honor Three AttorneysAt Mid-Atlantic Region Diversity Dinner

The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA)this month has scheduled its 2005 Mid-Atlantic Region Diversity Dinner at which it will honor this year's regional Employers of Choice.

The event is set for Tuesday, June 14 at the JW Marriott, 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

Each year, MCCA hosts a series of awards dinners in selected regions of the country (South/Southwest, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Western and Northeast) to spotlight leadership on diversity issues. Through the dinners MCCA honors outstanding corporate law departments, law firms, and individual leaders with the following awards: Employer of Choice Award, Thomas L. Sager Award, Trailblazer Award and the Rainbowmaker Award.

At the 2005 Mid-Atlantic Region Dinner, Employers of Choice Awards will be presented to Thomas P. Dale, executive vice president and general counsel, Rolls-Royce North America Inc., and Robert A. Lonergan, vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, Rohm and Haas Company.

A Special Achievement Award also will be presented to Mary Anne Gibbons, senior vice president and general counsel, U.S. Postal Service.
