City Bar Program: Attorneys On Non-Profit Boards

The New York City Bar Association will replay a video of a popular program titled The Role of an Attorney on a Non-Profit Board. It will be held on Thursday, August 18, at the New York City Bar Association at 42 West 44th Street in Manhattan.

The event begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon.

Topics covered will include the legal framework of New York nonprofits, standards of conduct and best practices, potential liabilities and protections for board members, recent legislative developments relating to endowment funds, and special considerations confronting attorneys who act as board members.
