Chicago Event: Directors Institute On Governance

On Wednesday, September 7, the Practising Law Institute hosts the ninth annual Directors Institute on Corporate Governance. The seminar will be groupcast to the University of Chicago Gleacher Center, 450 N. Cityfront Plaza Drive in Chicago. It begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.

At this renowned institute, leading corporate governance experts - directors, government officials, corporate counsel and academics - will share their perspectives on the fast-changing regulatory environment, the new expectations for board oversight, and needed steps boards will want to consider.

Ira Millstein, senior associate dean for corporate governance, Yale School of Management and partner, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP,will deliver the keynote address outlining the challenges for directors in a world of short-term pressures.
