Following a presentation by Beth I. Boland and R. Scott Henderson, co-chairs of the Boston Bar Association Task Force on Corporate Governance and partners at Bingham McCutchen, the BBA Council has voted to accept the Report of the Task Force on Corporate Governance.
Two of the action items contained in the report, the development of a process for the ongoing review of Chapter 156D and the assignment of a committee to monitor corporate governance developments in other U.S. as well as foreign jurisdictions, will be referred to the Business Law Section for implementation, with input from the International Law Section where appropriate.
